G’day Mate!
Welcome to my online portal and blog!
Here you’ll find everything you need to know about Australian cooking.
My blog first started back in 2004 and I was one of the first chefs in the world to write a regular blog. Since then there’s been literally hundreds of blog’s posted on a wide range of topics. I consider my blog as my public diary of what I get up to as well as a great source of food news and happenings about food in Australia and the world. It’s considered as one of the best chef blogs in the world.
Australian food has certainly come a distance in the past decade and is known around the world as a new cuisine, which I’d like to think I am at the forefront of. My recipes feature indigenous Australian ingredients carefully paired with accessible ingredients from around the home. The recipes have been designed to be cooked at home and are mostly simple to prepare and serve. Each of recipe features a cooking tip (some of my cooking secrets) which will help you create the perfect meal for your family and friends. Make sure you try my Shrimp on the Barbie recipe.
If you want to keep up to date with what's going on, apart from reading my website, you can register for my email newsletter. I'll have regular competitions as well as recipes and blogs that are for newsletter subscribers only.
Finally I’d like to hear from you my readers. So if you’ve got any questions on where to find our unusual Australian ingredients, recipe requests or if you just want to say G’day Mate – drop me an email here.
Cheers
