In the early hours of Wednesday morning, Peter Brennan from Austrade in the USA and I were on CRN Radio’s What’s Cooking with Mike Horn and Paul Stern. Both Peter and I were discussing the popularity of Australian food and wine in the USA as well as the recent Australia Week events in Los Angeles.

Peter talks specifically talks about seafood sustainability as well as the growth of Australian wines like Little Penguin and Yellow Tail wines. Whilst I talk about our TV series Dining Downunder and the use of native flavours in both home cooking and in retail lines.

The interview was recorded at 3am Sydney time and I had just returned home from a small catering event in the city, so I was rather tired and exhausted.

Since we recorded this interview with CRN, I have been invited back for future interviews and to discuss recipes and other things Australian which is great. CRN is recorded live from Los Angeles and reaches nearly 11 million cable households nationally across the United States of America through analog, digital and the internet.
