Recently while browsing Apple’s itunes looking for suitable podcasts to download I stumbled on a recent addition called the Chefs Series. The Chef Series is co-produced by Food & Wine Magazine in the USA as well as American Express Productions and features cooking classes from the 2006 Annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colorado.
Already available for download is videos from Food Network celebrity chefs Mario Batali and Bobby Flay both cooking easy to cook at home dishes. The description on the itunes podcast directory suggests that upcoming video podcasts will include cooking demonstrations and recipes from other celebrity chefs such as Wolfgang Puck and Emeril Lagasse. There were over 20 celebrity chef presentations at last years Food & Wine Classic in Aspen , so I am sure these will be available in the near future also.
Apparently the video content will also be streamable on www.foodandwine.com in a couple of weeks and Food & Wine Magazine is planning to produce and publish originally videos on a regular basis. At present the videos are sponsored by American Express which owns Food & Wine Magazine via American Express Publishing.
