This week in Los Angeles we did an interview on Good Food which broadcasts on KCRW Radio at 11am. Good Food is Santa Monica Public Radio / KCRW’s weekly radio show on food and is hosted by restaurateur and author Evan Kleiman.
Evan Kleiman asked Vic Cherikoff and I about all things Australian from Captain Cook to modern day cuisine in restaurants. We talked about the cuisine of the Aboriginal people to how chefs are using native ingredients in restaurants around world, particularly in the USA.
Away from hosting Good Food, Evan Kleiman is the owner and executive chef of LA restaurant Angeli Caffe Caffe and best-selling author of numerous cookbooks, including Cucina Fresca and Pasta Fresca.
