The Nestlé Golden Chef’s Hat Award is the only national junior culinary competition dedicated to the development of apprentices in Australia. The competition was first introduced in 1966 and since 1986 has been solely sponsored by Nestlé, and recognised as the longest running chef competition in Australia. The Nestlé Golden Chef’s Hat Award is Nestlé’s contribution to Australia’s sound reputation for cuisine innovation and excellence and opens the doors for our next great chefs.
Apprentice Chefs must submit an orginal recipe using Nestlé products and write a brief on their career aspirations.
