Today in New York City, Vic Cherikoff and I met up with Mark Tafoya from the Remarkable Palate Podcast and the Culinary Podcast Network to record two podcasts. For those that don’t know, Mark he is a personal chef in New York city as well as working alongside Jennifer Iannolo as the chef of the Gilded Fork website.
We met Mark in Canal St which is one of the main streets of New York’s Chinatown precinct, then popped into a Vietnamese restaurant when Mark did an interview with me about my culinary background.
After lunch we did what Mark refers to as a sight and sound tour where we explored many of the Asian seafood markets, produce stalls and Asian Groceries. Both Vic and I spoke about the difference in culinary terms between Australia and the USA as well as different uses of ingredients.
Mark isn’t so sure of when both of the podcasts will be scheduled and published, but make sure you subscribe to the Remarkable Palate and the Culinary Podcast Network, so you’ll be one of the first to hear the interviews.
