Whilst filming in the McLaren Vale region recently my crew and I stayed at the luxurious accommodation called The Producers which is located between the town centres of McLaren Vale and Willunga.
Set amongst wine vines, native flora, olive groves and citrus orchards, The Producers is great retreat after a day of visiting wine makers and indulging in the local cuisine. They have 4 accommodation options which include;
• Producers Lodge
• Producers Studio
• Producers Cabin
• Vineyard House
We stayed in the Producers Lodge which had two bedrooms, bathroom, open wood fire and great kitchen. If we have had more time we would have filmed a few cooking segments in the kitchen as great location with garden and views of the vines behind the kitchen. I’ve already added it to my list of kitchens I can use for filming in the future.
All The Producers accommodation options come with breakfast provisions, which for us included cereals, yogurt, fresh milk, eggs, tomatoes, mushrooms and bacon, a great touch for those weekend getaways. I made a great country breakfast one day and the other day made the Australian classic “train smash”.
