Last week the Australian Federal Immigration Minister, Senator Amanda Vanstone’s office contacted me asking if they could use some of my wattleseed recipes as part of the minister’s official Wattle day website for the 1st of September. It’s not everyday that the Australian Immigration Minister asks you for a recipe, so I agreed.
Last year, Senator Amanda Vanstone argued that Australia could be persuaded to cut ties with Britain if it showed greater appreciation of the Golden Wattle, Acacia pycnantha.
