Tourism Australia this week launched an international tourism campaign called “So Where The Bloody Hell Are You?” to attract prospective travelers. The proposition for the campaign is basically Australia invites you to get involved and is delivered through a uniquely Australian invitation of ‘so where the bloody hell are you?’.The message captures the essence of Australia’s famous warmth and hospitality and provides a personal invitation to share in the uniquely open Australian experience, defined by the personality, lifestyle and environment of Australia.
I think that the message is clear and should be very effective in driving real numbers to Australia. Its simple, more travellers creates real jobs and does so quickly.….more chefs, more waiters etc.
Most people know how passionate I am about Australian Food and Wine and I was pleased to see in the TV commercial a few seconds of having dinner at Ulura (Sounds of Silence at Ayers Rock) in the desert.
Here is the Where The Bloody Hell Are You? advertisment.
