While in Santa Monica recently I meet with some of the team at Yahoo Food, which form part of the search engines media group. The meeting was to discuss content for their newly launched Yahoo Food portal.
For those that haven’t seem Yahoo Food yet, the portal boasts celebrity chef recipes, videos and other food-related content supplied through publisher partnerships with companies like Allrecipes.com; Epicurious; Martha Stewart Omnimedia; Everyday with Rachel Ray; Food & Wine; Reader’s Digest, Taste of Home; Eating Well and Wolfgang Puck.
Apart from recipes, Yahoo Food also includes 13 blogs from influential personalities in the food world like “The Continental Chef” from Marcus Samuelsson; “Back to the Table” from Art Smith; “Donatella’s Dish” from Donatella Arpaia; “Ed Levine Eats” from Ed Levine; and “Southern Table” from Frank Stitt. Culinary talent Brooke Peterson is currently develop and host a video show called “Cheap and Easy.”
As part of the ever changing content on Yahoo Food, this week celebrity chef Wolfgang Puck offers viewers an exclusive behind-the-scenes culinary tour and recipes from Governor’s Ball (the official Oscars after party).
