The All Japan Chefs Association was formed in 1959. Today there are over 25,000 members. The All Japan Chefs Association is concerned with good hygiene and introducing western cooking methods to Japan. Membership information is on the website. Benefits include a subscription to the house newsletter Monthly Western Cooking. There are also names and contact information for the 13 branches of the association. The All Japan Chefs Association is a member of WACS (World Association of Chefs Societies) and participates in WACS events and competitions, and participates in the World Culinary Olympics. The Association runs such programs as “French cooking and culture.” Also on the homepage is a listing of upcoming events.

The Canadian Culinary Federation is the largest association of cooking professionals in Canada.
