Beagle Truffle Dog
Fran Lee from Fran’s Truffle Dogs had three breeds on the truffle hunt. An Australian cattledog a golden retriever and a 6 month old beagle. Each are trained differently when they find a truffle. The beagle is trained to sit on top of the truffle, whereas the cattle dog just starts ripping the dirt up to find the truffle.
