Everytime a large ship such as the Regent Sevens Seas Mariner enters or leaves a port, the Port Pilot actually takes command of the ship and pilots it through port. I had no idea of this at all and assumed the Capatin actually did this. Here is the pilot leaving the Mariner after directing it out to sea again.
