About this recipe

Lemon Myrtle Tea is a healthy and refreshing hot drink which soothes a sore dry throat. This is because of lemon myrtle has anti bacterial and anti microbial properties which fights against infections.

If I am making just one cup I’ll use a small tea infuser, otherwise I’ll brew a litre or so and then refrigerate it and have the rest as a cold drink.

Ingredients

5g (1 teaspoon) lemon myrtle sprinkle
230ml (1 cup) boiling water

Cooking instruction

Infuse the lemon myrtle sprinkle into the boiling water. Allow to stand for 3-5 minutes depending on the preferred strength. Remove the lemon myrtle and serve with sugar if desired.
